REVIEW: French Kiss by Sloane Taylor

French Kiss by Sloane Taylor

Contemporary Erotic Romance
eBook
15,000 words

Witty and crackling with sass, French Kiss, the fourth novelette in Sloane Taylor's Naughty Ladies of Nice series, is a standalone sexy short that promises and delivers a good time.

American children's author Rachel Conklin is washed up on a secluded beach during a wicked storm. Luckily for her, Dr. Henri Bernier, sheltering from the rough weather, is on hand to nurse her broken leg. He takes her back to his seaside home on the mainland. Sparks fly as they become reluctantly and intimately acquainted. They might be total opposites, but they can both speak candidly when the occasion calls for it, amusingly so. Then there's the question of Rachel's arrival. What was she doing alone in the sea? Who or what is she afraid of? Does it have anything to do with the unsavoury crew that's just reached port?

American sass meets provincial French in this lively romance, by turns sweet and sea-salty. I had a great time with this book. I don't normally read erotic romances, but Ms. Taylor's vibrant style isn't exclusive to the sex scenes, as it tends to be for some authors in this genre. Here she imbues the characters, scene setting and dialogue with quirky life all their own. Plus, the lovemaking is seriously hot.

My advice? Kick back and let the fizzy swells of French Kiss wash over you. This is one addictive series. Next up for me, French Twist...

Very nice review. You surprised me by reading this one. Guess there's a soft side to Robert? I won't tell anyone. ;)

Hehe I guess so, Kim.

It's quite strange. Our genres are poles apart, but Sloane and I write with a similar style. My new sci-fi novel was inspired by this series. Mine's more romance than erotica, though, and it takes place *elsewhere*.

THANK YOU, ROBERT!!! I am blown away you read French Kiss AND that you liked it. Holy Cats, man, I'm jumping for joy here.

Good wishes on your new series. I'm looking forward to it.

You recommend this to timid readers then, Rob?
And, on another not, LOVE the cover of Kate of Kratos. You must have been very very good in a former life to deserve that:-)

My pleasure, Sloane. It isn'the first erotic I've read, but it's the first one in a while. The playful sense of humour brought it to life.

The new novel is coming along nicely. I'll be sure to give you an aknowledgement if (when!!) it gets published.

Hi Sally! I wouldn't recommend this to timid readers, no. There are some thoroughly nasty moments involving the criminal crew, and the sex scenes are very descriptive. Sloane manages it all with a great deal of charm, though. Black humour runs throughout.

And the KATE OF KRATOS cover...I couldn't believe my eyes when it popped up. Amanda Kelsey knocked it clean out of the park, and possibly the galaxy. I must have sold my soul for that image!

I am Mariam used every single spell worker on the internet, spent untold amounts of money and discovered they are all fakes...i was the fool though; doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. In the end, I decided that I wanted a tarot reading to know what my future held for me; I contacted a woman who lives locally to me and she told me about a man named (Priests Abija); he does not advertise on the internet, has another job for income, has no set prices, makes no false promises and refuses to help anyone that cannot be helped and even helps for free sometimes, he will give you proof before taking money. He is a wonderful man and he was the only person who actually gave me real results. I really hope he doesn't mind me advertising his contact on the internet but I'm sure any help/ extra work will benefit him.contact him here as +447053820826 or spirituallighthealing101@live.com He travel sometimes.i cant give out his number cos he told me he don’t want to be disturbed by many people across the world..he said his email is okay and he’ will replied to any emails asap, love marriage, finance, job promotion ,lottery Voodoo, poker voodoo, golf Voodoo,Law & Court case Spells, money voodoo, weigh loss voodoo, any sicknesses voodoo,Trouble in marriage,HIV AIDS,it's all he does Hope this helps everyone that is in a desperate situation as I once was; I know how it feels to hold onto something and never have a chance to move on because of the false promises and then to feel trapped in wanting something
more.
